The Faculty of Law is the founding faculty of the whole Pan-European University. As such, it has begun to offer university education in 2004. It offers accredited programs in all 3 cycles of university studies – bachelor, master´s and PhD. It also offers the opportunity to reach a professional title of „iuris doctor“ (JUDr.) and in a contractual partnership an LL.M. program is being conducted.

The aim of the faculty is to strive for quality legal education and to pursue a further development of accredited programs of studies. With the achieved knowledge and expertise the graduates should be able to join not only the traditional legal professions, but become highly motivated professionals for the current needs of the changing legal profession.

As a very important part of the education a practical experience is our strategic goal. Gaining practical experience already during the studies enables the graduates to leave for the labour market in a comparatively better position. Corporate partnerships with IBM, the Slovak Football Association, the Slovak National Centre for Human Rights, the National Association of Real Estate Agents, News and Media Holding or the Slovak Association of Insurance Companies, among others serve the purpose to highlight practical aspects of studies. Experts are being invited into the direct tuition and specialised seminars, workshops and professional events are offered in cooperation with the corporate partners.

Besides the general curriculum, specialisations through a choice of elective courses are offered in medical law, law in sports, real estate law, etc. The tuition in Slovak taught degree programs is complemented by a choice of English taught courses, with a special emphasis at courses in the fields of International and European Law.

, Faculties

The Faculty of Psychology, founded in 2011, is the only of its kind in Slovakia. It offers full university education in all 3 cycles – bachelor, master´s and PhD. Additionally, a professional doctorate (PhDr.) may be achieved in a special proceedings.

The faculty offers a combination of theory and practice, complemented by a profile of a European professional in psychologic standards, which may be certified by a professional diploma of a „European Psychologist Certificate“. The certification fullfils the needs of a standardised content of psychology studies throughout Europe.

Our mission is to react to current needs on the education market in psychology and that is why we aim at offering an expertise which reaches beyond the general and traditional education of psychology. The first aspect is guaranteed by new specialisations to be reached through our degree program, such as offering psychologic studies in Multicultural Tolerance. The second aspect demonstrates in a close interdisciplinarity and a strong interconnection of theoretical education with practice. Our partners from the sector of conduct of practical psychology enable our students to share their high class expertise in offering psychologic services on a daily basis. Among these, the Slovak National Centre for Human Rights, the League for Mental Health and professional corporations and chambers of psychologists and psychotherapists may be specifically mentioned. Experts are being invited into the direct tuition and specialised seminars, workshops and practical placements or other professional events are being offered in cooperation with our partners.

The team of academics of the Faculty of Psychology serve as psychologic practitioners themselves and share their expertise with students on a daily basis. Their demonstrable achievement is to educate and raise high quality professionals, who are not only knowledgeable, but committed to a challenging set of characteristics for a modern psychologist.

, Faculties

The Faculty of Economics and Entrepreneurship was the second faculty of the PEU, launching its activities in the academic year 2005/2006. . It offers accredited programs in all 3 cycles of university studies – bachelor, master´s (with the Slovak title in abbreviation „Ing.“) and PhD. Through a contractual partnership an MBA. program is being conducted.

The faculty´s focal point is based on educating towards an expertise to master the actual trends in economic life in Slovakia and throughout the world. A quality economic education to serve the needs of the graduates to be successful on the labour market in the fields of private entrepreneurship, management, marketing and trade is the main aim of our programs.

As a very important part of the education a practical experience is our strategic goal. Corporate partnerships with IBM, the Slovak Energy Corporation, the Slovak-Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Volkswagen, the Slovak Association of Insurance Companies and the Assiociation of Small and Medium-Size Enterprises serve the purpose to highlight practical aspects of studies. Experts are being invited into the direct tuition and specialised seminars, workshops and professional events are offered in cooperation with the corporate partners.

In 2009 the faculty has renewed its programs to offer education in economic sciences, linked closer to the methodolgy of leading world universities in the respective field. Managerial, entrepreneurial and modern techniques in business and trade to be set into practice on a more demanding internationally interlinked business market form the necessary prerequisites.

A strong bilingual aspect is aimed in the tuition, shown by a 4-semester-course of „Economic communication in foreign language“.

, Faculties

By the time of its foundation the Faculty of Media was the third member of the PEU faculties. It has begun its operation in 2007. It offers accredited programs in all 3 cycles of university studies – bachelor, master´s and PhD. Additionally, a professional doctorate (PhDr.) may be achieved in a special proceedings.

The faculty aims at providing modern education to raise professionals with a set of theoretical and practical knowledge and experience in the fields of print, electronic and web-based media, multimedia production services, advertising and managerial sector. Linked to the general program of studies specialisations in Political Communication, Marketing of Tourism and Digital Marketing may be achieved.

Actual trends, linking modern information technologies with the world of media, is the main emphasis of the practical approach of our programs. During their studies, the students have the opportunity to be in a frequent contact with renowned academics and practitioners from the fields of media, marketing and the managerial sector, sharing their valuable knowledge and expertise. Practical education is established through corporate partnerships with the News and Media Holding, TEDx, IBM, Education First, the Art Film Fest, etc. Experts are being invited into the direct tuition and specialised seminars, workshops and professional events are offered in cooperation with the corporate partners.

As a specific feature of the practice-oriented approach towards education and research the relevant parts of the media production, as an integral part of the student´s curricula, are conducted in a state-of-the-art Media Centre. It comprises a professional TV studio, radio production, photography atelieres and multimedia production rooms and laboratories, fully equipped with iMac technologies.

The accredited programs of studies comprise Media Studies, Media and Communication and Media Design on the bachelor level of studies, complemented by Media and Marketing Communication and Media Design on the Master´s level of studies. The PhD. program is a general program in Media Studies.

, Faculties

The Faculty of Informatics was established in 2008 and has widen the scope of the structure of the Pan-European University outside the social sciences. The faculty is the only of its kind, established at a private higher education institution. It offers university education at bachelor and master´s level. A professional doctorate title (RNDr.) may be achieved in a special proceedings.

The expertise of the Faculty of Informatics follows the needs to educate highly qualified professionals in the field of information technologies and to equip each of its graduates with a set of knowledge and skills required by the professional IT sector. The flexibility of the contents of degree programs enables the faculty to react to the actual needs of the IT sector and the labour market in the respective field.

Corporate partnerships with national and transnational IT corporations, most notably IBM, Education First, Vis Gravis, Asseco, Gratex International, Goldmann Systems, serve the purpose to connect a general tuition with practical aspects of studies. Experts are being invited into the direct tuition and specialised lectures, seminars, workshops and other forms of practical professional tutorship constitute tangible results of cooperation with the corporate partners.

We are fully aware of the fact that without an innovative, practice oriented and interdisciplinary interconnected university education, equipped with the most up-to-date IT and communication technologies the raising of a new generation of professionals would be unthinkable. This is why we always pursue a modernisation of our premises and equip them with the highest standards of technologies and IT laboratories.

An integral part of the education is the creation of projects of virtual and enlarged reality, as well as gaming programming.
