Application process
Applicants to Pan-European University Bachelor’s study programs must have a completed Secondary Education with Graduation. Applicants who are currently in their senior year of Secondary School may apply for admission, but acceptance will be contingent upon receipt of the Secondary Education Diploma.
Nostrification of the foreing secondary education diploma should be arranged in Slovakia before the full admission. Our international office staff will help the students with this process.
Below is a checklist of the documents required for a completed application:
1. Application
The first step you need to do is to file an Application on the selected program.
2. Application Fee (EUR 20, non-refundable)
If you complete the online application you will pay the fee online with a credit card. If you are sending a print application via our Department for International Relations, the payment will be agreed individually.
3. Resume
A resume or typewritten outline describing at least the past five years of your employment history and any significant community, professional, or college extracurricular activities. Include recognitions and achievements (e.g. licenses, publications, and awards).
4. Secondary Education Diploma and Transcripts
Secondary Education Diploma from an accredited secondary school must be sent in the paper form with the applicable verification (apostille, legalization etc.). More information will be provided by PEU international staff.
Academic records issued in a language other than Slovak are required to be translated and attested to by the institution of origin or a PEU-approved translation agency.
5. Confirmation of the level of English of the applicant
International applicants will need to submit the certificate or any other document as a proof of the B2 english level proficiency. For students which do not meet the language criteria in order to be accepted for the any programme taught in English at Pan-European University, there is an option to apply for the preparatory english language course offered by the university.
Citizens from the following countries are waived from the English proficiency requirement: Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the British Virgin Islands, Jamaica, United Kingdom, Ireland, Antigua, Scotland, St. Lucia, Bahamas, Barbados, Trinidad/Tobago, Dominica, Grenada, Grand Cayman, Guyana, Belize, Anguilla, Montserrat, Turks and Caicos Islands, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Antigua and Barbuda.
6. Payment of the tuition fees
International students (except for the Erasmus students) are obliged to pay the first part of the tuition fee (1500 EUR) before the issue of the confirmation of acceptance. The first payment includes 200 EUR of the non-refundable registration payment, and 400 EUR of the non-refundable payment for the confirmation of accommodation (if applicable). In case that the student will enroll for study, all pre-payment will be subtracted from the tuition fee.
7. Visa to Slovakia
International students are required to arrange a visa or visa permit to Slovakia. Our university will provide the applicants with two basic documents – the confirmation of acceptance and confirmation of accommodation. Our international staff will also provide the applicants with all necessary help and will inform the embassy of Slovakia about the inquiry.
