Compostela Group of Universities (CGU)

In 2012 the Pan-European University has become a member of the Compostela Group of Universities, following a successful application procedure and the confirmed accession at the 18. General Assembly of CGU in Oulu, Finland.

The CGU is a non-profit international association aiming to foster cooperation and promote dialogue in all fields related to higher education. An initiative of the University of Santiago de Compostela, the CGU currently comprises more than 70 member universities worldwide, who have joined together in the belief that international cooperation, intercultural dialogue and promotion of joint values in the world of higher education can overcome any diversity.

The CGU is not only a platform to enhance bilateral university cooperation but through its efficient institutionalized structures it provides a number of projects in which the member universities can participate. Besides its main programs as the annual Compostela Video Contest and the STELLA Program of administrative mobilities, to which the Pan-European University actively participates, the CGU organizes a whole range of specialized workshops and seminars, the outcomes of which are being presented through a series of publications.
